£250,000 raised for Milton Keynes girl, Poppy to receive life-saving treatment abroad

Poppy is a 5 year old who lives in Milton Keynes and has a love for running, playing in the park and a love for Rapunzel, Elsa and Moana. At 4 years old she was diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer who has a 40-50% chance of long-term survival.

Poppy's family, friends and their parents once hearing the news had come together to start fundraising in order to access life-saving treatment abroad (£250,000)and so the launch of 'Princess Poppy Rainbow Appeal' began. Reaching out to instagram on the 28th June 2021 to start their journey and giving daily updates on how Poppy is doing.

Poppy has had the Milton Keynes and beyond community behind her, we've seen the most incredible public fundraisers including: Bake sales, a huge raffle by local mum blogger, The Outdoors Mum and Bow & Co, Dinner's, Music events, Fairs, local business competitions, outdoor cinemas, family fun days and so much more. Last year also saw a mention from the one and only Alan Carr who also kindly donated them tickets to his sold out show. The Henry Allen Trust also donated collection pots to ourselves and we passed this on to the appeal to go into public places who allow collections.

In just under a year, today, on 20th January 2022, Princess Poppy Rainbow Appeal has reached over £250,000 meaning they will be able to now receive this life-saving treatment for Poppy.
